After a long hiatus, Arni Mac returns with Affinity, an introduction to a new chapter in her sound. The song captures the ache and excitement of wanting to explore countless dreams and creative paths, while knowing there is never enough time to hold them all. Sonically, Affinity marks a departure from Arni’s folk roots, embracing a darker, more expressive alternative rock sound. Driven by melodic guitar lines and her self-proclaimed “particular” affinity for drum beats, Arni channels the rush of falling deeply into a special interest, what she simply calls the feeling of affinity itself
