'Scarred and Sacred' Album Launch w/ SOLCHLD X Callum Pask Quartet

Proudly presenting ‘Scarred and Sacred’ – an eight-track collaboration between SOLCHLD and the Callum Pask Quartet. A meeting of spoken word and exploratory jazz.

Arrernte–Afro–Jamaican artist SOLCHLD shapes each poem with imagery drawn from ancestry, faith, and lived experience, tracing journeys of love, liberation, kinship, and justice. Beneath her voice, composer and pianist Callum Pask alongside Julia Beiers (bass), Ryan Hammermeister (drums), and Tristan Rogers (trumpet), craft expansive, textural soundscapes.

Together, they create a body of work that honours vulnerability as strength and transforms memory into music – intimate, unflinching, and alive.
