Those naughty boys from Rumble Pack are back with a surprise performance at JMI Live.
Led by guitarist, composer and educator Mike Anderson, Rumble Pack will be playing 2 sets of original compositions and arrangements of songs which are heavily influenced and inspired by the sounds of Butcher Brown, J Dilla, MMW, Flying Lotus and Joshua Redman to name a few.
If you haven’t heard Rumble Pack before, expect hard grooving, deeply melodic songs with adventurous improvisation performed by some of Brisbane’s finest musicians and improvisers.
Mike says the music sounds like the Pat Metheny Group being sampled by MF Doom on an MPC. Makes perfect sense when you hear us.
