Ruth Apelt and The Marvellous honour the brilliance of Janis Ian’s multiple-Grammy-winning 1975 album, Between The Lines – with its timeless anthem, At Seventeen. With a Cabaret edge, join us on a journey through this extraordinary arc of emotion, remembering and insight.

Ruth Apelt : Brisbane singer/songwriter supported Janis Ian on tour in 1994, now paying homage to this primary influence on her life and music in this premiere performance with The Marvellous collaborators: Helen Russell (double bass, vocals), Eugenie Costello (violin, vocals), Karen McLeod (keyboard).

Reload Expresso Bar opens on a Thursday night from 5:30pm. The show starts 6:30, and doors close by 8:30pm. There’s an economical bar and dinner menu, offering GF and vegetarian options of healthy flavours with a Chilean touch. The fish tacos are great! A relaxed and friendly intimate space. Plenty of street parking – 9 Chrome Street, Salisbury.
