DEAD HEAD REDEMPTION - Album Launch

It’s been a hard road but this wagon train has finally pulled up! DEAD HEAD REDEMPTION are proud to launch their debut album THE WENDIGO HUNTERS here at THE CAVE INN on Saturday September 19th 2026.

With support from fellow 4017-ers IRESON ROAD and THE COASTAL COWGIRLS, this will be a night of Hickory-smoked entertainment that’s sure to tickle the nostalgia buds.

NZ brother and tireless publican Adam Christy, of Cardigan Bar and State of Appalachiafame, brings his new project IRESON ROAD to their debut at the Cave. From gritty blues to powerful dark country ballads, we are set for an emotional ride into the sunset, accompanied by wailing guitar and heartbreaking vocals.

Playful, talented, and gosh-darn rootin’-tootin’, Sandgate’s THE COASTAL COWGIRLS are a female-led bayside band that blend the dusty trails of country & Americana with the refreshing breeze of the coast. Delightful originals, river-washed classics, and yee-haw surprises are these boot-stomping blonde’s buttercake.

Closing the evening, DEAD HEAD REDEMPTIONperform their brand-new album The Wendigo Hunters in full from start to finish. Evolved over the past three years, the songs evoke the atmosphere of the mangroves, the dankness of the swamp, and the harshness of the open land. Weaving tales of folklore, injustice, and murder, the songs tramp the trail between blues, outlaw, and pure rock n’ roll. Following the closing track, they’ll bring the night to a head with more originals, and a few rusty rail reworks for good measure!
