Happy Halloween, darlings. Join us as we peer beyond the veil of time to the 1940s, indulging in Forties Femme Fatales and Cinematic Hauntings, exploring all the ‘behind the red velvet curtain’ showbiz history of this infamous era of Burlesque and Hollywood.

This Halloween, the silver screen’s most notorious sirens, burlesque legends, dangerous dames and long dead monsters will rise again for a teasing encore. Expect burlesque, drag and sultry songs steeped in the shadowy allure of 1940s film noir, hard-boiled thrillers and the scandalous glamour of burlesque’s golden age.

Mostly disreputable glamour, with just the right amount of spooky. A pleasing way to spend Halloween, no?

As you step into our atmospheric speakeasy cellar, you’ll be transported to another time, guided by sparkling story-telling host Mara Maraschino. Prepare to be immersed, entertained and delighted.
