A new Year brings a new fantasy.
Independent filmmakers Dome Interactive will begin to develop a new feature film which follows a group of ill-fated travellers bound together by an object of strange and terrible Power.
During their Takeover, this self-driven cinematic machine will be set in motion with story, image and process unfolding in real time.

During the Takeover Dome Interactive will open its occult film practices to the public. The residency will explore hands-on visual effects and analog filmmaking techniques, including the fabrication of props and set pieces alongside experiments in rear projection and in-camera composition.

Audiences and participants can expect to be pulled kicking and screaming into the mechanics of visual effects and storytelling through workshops and collective making. The community will be invited to step inside their world and experience the thrill, labour and imagination at the heart of independent filmmaking.
