What is Pig Guide?

The Pig Guide is a website of vital community and/or underground leaning live music, art, events and performances spanning the south east-ish corridor and Northern Rivers. This includes Brisbane/Magandjin (Jagera and Turrbal country), Sunshine Coast (Gubbi Gubbi country), Ipswich/Tulmur (Jagera, Turrbal and Ugarapul country), Gold Coast (Yugambeh country), Redland Bay (Quandamooka country) & Northern Rivers (Bunjalung country)

It’s owned and operated by volunteers who especially love underground, diy and community leaning events. No money is made from the page, it exists exists to promote local musicians/bands, artists and other creatives, and the spaces and venues which support them and foster community. You don’t need a social media account or profile and it’s available to all ages.

On the Pig Guide you will find essential information relating to an event including who is involved, where, and what time they are performing or exhibiting, a link to the venue for all frequently asked questions including accessibility, if the gig is free or paid, all ages, 18+, licensed, byo etc, a link to tickets for the event and often links to artist websites and social media.
