Close encounter with contemporary performance 

A_PART a-part.co is an arts movement based in Kombumerri Country/Gold Coast, connecting artists and communities in Australia, Indonesia and the world.

This year, A_PART presents its first live program in Kombumerri and Bundjalung countries (Gold Coast and Byron Bay), bringing exceptional contemporary performance work on an intimate scale to industrial studio settings.

A_PART Live_01 will feature two works created and performed by Indonesian-Australian, Gold Coast-based dancer and choreographer Juliet Widyasari Burnett:

• Roro Xeno – a solo dance work with original music by Indonesian music artist Kasimyn (Gabber Modus Operandi, Björk, Samsara film)
• A new work with original music performed live by Iranian-Australian, Gold Coast-based music artist Sam Saljoogh
