Good Bait Trio with special guests Simon Watson - Vocals & Brendan St Ledger - Piano

The Good Bait Trio is a long-standing collaboration between three of Brisbane’s most versatile and highly regarded jazz instrumentalists: Jamie Clark on guitar, Helen Russell on bass and Paul Hudsonon drums. The three have developed a deep synergy over many years of playing together, and love to share their enjoyment of playing music together. For this special event they’ve invited Simon Watson, who you may have seen singing beautifully from behind the keyboard, to front the band as guest vocalist, and, as an extra bonus, the piano chair will be occupied by everyone’s favourite, Brendan St Ledger.

The band is excited to present some brand-new repertoire throughout the show. You’ll enjoy songs some of history’s greatest ever singers – Chet Baker, Tony Bennett, Harry Connick Jnr., Shirley Horn, Kurt Elling, Nina Simone and Australia’s own Vince Jones.
