Rutherford Jazz Trio (RJT) is a defiant band, in many senses. The fierce 5-piece Meanjin funk lineup jollily deposits electrifying riffs and rhythms upon unsuspecting audiences, living beyond not only its nomenclature, but genre boundaries as well. Even a moment with RJT threatens witnesses with an irreversible and virulent strain of fathomless groove.
3 years since the release of their debut EP ‘Greatest Hits of the Rutherford Jazz Trio’, it has come time for them to once again unleash their signature groovage upon the masses!
