Riley Fitzgerald Invites You to Come to The California Lane CD & Record Fair
“Brisbane’s music culture is unique,” says Riley Fitzgerald, founder of Glitter Records. “There has always been raw energy here. Because we’ve been a little isolated, our scenes have been built from the ground up. For this reason, they have grown in unexpected ways. Sometimes they move ahead of their time. Others have become something completely original. The Valley has long been a place of freedom where all of this do-it-yourself energy meets.”
Riley says the fair invites everyone to be part of that story. It connects past and present. And opens up who gets to participate in Brisbane’s music culture. He says events like this can widen what is remembered and who belongs. This is vital for keeping the city’s arts and culture moving forward.
