Meanjin four piece Mood Board are Phil, Paul, Jonny, and Clementine. They sound a bit like that band you like. Low? Wilco? Yes and no. The Dirty Three? Also. Cat Power singing ’79 Young instead of ’66 Dylan? Echoes… Suffice to say they sound like something you’ve heard somewhere, but also utterly like themselves, and exactly like Mood Board.

‘Footsteps’ is Mood Board’s debut single, and the first release from their upcoming EP. Footsteps was released last month, but it’s never too late to celebrate. And they may have another single on the way very soon… stay tuned!

Mood Board will be joined at Season Three by local acts Fhae and Soma’s Secret.

Ellena Ramsay’s Meanjin based experimental-ambient-folk project, Fhae, combines ethereal haunting vocals with organic instrumentation and raw percussive production.

Spooky duo Soma’s Secret, also from Meanjin, write and perform atmospheric compositions that draw from their wide pool of sonic inspirations, ranging from dream pop, to post rock.
