Indie-rock darlings Tomorrows Forecast are bringing their magic to The Triffid Beer Garden!
They will be joined by local friends 01 THURMAN and Wisher.

Bringing together some of South East Queensland’s most exciting emerging indie acts, this lineup showcases a blend of jangly guitars, nostalgic songwriting and intimate live energy.

Tomorrow’s Forecast is a captivating four-piece from the Gold Coast whose story began when the members were just 14 years old. What started as teenage experimentation has grown into a tight-knit musical bond that resonates in every note they play. Drawing from the sounds of mid-2000s indie rock and drenched in nostalgia, the female-fronted band pairs lively, jangly guitars with gorgeous melodies, slacker-leaning rhythms and reflective lyricism. Having already shared stages with the likes of Hockey Dad, Benee, The Moving Stills and Babe Rainbow, Tomorrow’s Forecast continue to turn heads with their lovable indie pop sound and refreshing perspective on life’s quiet, everyday moments.

Joining them is 01 Thurman, the project of songwriter Josh Bartlett, who is finally unleashing a catalogue of demos years in the making. Stepping out “with spurs on his Nikes,” Bartlett blends indie rock with flashes of post-punk, shoegaze and lo-fi pop, crafting a sound that feels both rough-edged and deeply melodic.

Plus Wisher, a Brisbane five-piece made up of May, Jade, Ellis, Ben and Ky. Known for their immersive live shows, the band blends harmonised vocals with melodic guitar lines to explore themes of love, loss and coming of age. Their nostalgic, heartfelt sound captures the spirit of their hometown and has quickly earned them a reputation as one of Brisbane’s most compelling emerging acts.
